New Media Watch Dog – this blog has bite

Gerard Henderson””more strength to his keyboard fingers””launched his Media Watch Dog blog on Friday with some incisive commentary on:

”¢ The Monthly magazine – Henderson says it is morphing into “The Manne”;
”¢ Lex Hall hounding Julie Bishop over the accusations of plagiarism levelled at her in response to her contribution to Peter van Onselen’s edited collection Liberals & Power: The Road Ahead (MUP, 2008); and
”¢ Catherine Deveny’s reaction to the The Age editor relocating her weekly column from the opinion page to the Metropolis section. “It only took a month before Ms Deveny exploded about her treatment under The Age’s new management,” Henderson writes. Read the blog here.
