On 29 February 2004, Liberal MP Tony Smith used “The Adjournment Debate” on ABC1’s Insiders to sound a warning about the nature of ALP governments. He delivered his message as the eighth anniversary of the defeat of the Keating Government approached. Tony Smith’s warning resonates today.
