Bolt: Hockey’s ignorant of climate science

Joe Hockey has made no attempt to understand the science on global warming, Herald Sun columnist Andrew Bolt told ABC1’s Insiders today.

“I’ve discussed privately with him the science on global warming. I don’t think he understands it, I don’t think he’s made any attempt to understand it,” Bolt said.

“It’s like everyone else, in the commentariat in particular, it seems to me, they want to skip over the science and just talk about process.”

Insiders presenter Barrie Cassidy, said, “You mean you weren’t able to persuade him of your position.”

“No, he didn’t know – and that’s the difference,” Bolt said.
