Earthquake politics a question of faith
Ben-PeterTerpstra
A global warming philosophy is an extremely mystical one, because it asks us to reject science, or rather, demands, we embrace a pro-prophecy culture.
Thus, when Danny Glover makes conspiratorial links between rejecting the pretend Copenhagen consensus and Haiti’s recent earthquakes he’s promoting green mysticism. Or he “feels” the truth.
But should we be hard on the pro-communist Hollywood star when campaigning reporters make similar claims? And, also to be fair, Glover was probably listening to our ABC’s AM (17 June, 2009):
Complaint: A listener challenged the accuracy of a story in which it was stated that a UN report suggested a link between climate change and increased risk of earthquakes.
Audience and Consumer Affairs response: The ABC acknowledged that such a link had not been made in the UN report. An Editor’s Note was added to the online transcript to clarify the error.
The issue at heart is that busy listeners are being forced to correct the ABC’s leftwing professionals.
Our so-called public servants are believers, you see, emotionally wrapped up in their global warming prophecy theories. There are no established links between “warmings” and earthquakes, but faith asks ABC’s emotionally confused Canberra-first servants to sell fear.

Why is the A.B.C, creating a NEWS Channel?. There are so many NEWS facilities already available that it is quite unnecessary for the A.B. C. to do this. One can only conclude that the Management don’t know what else to do !!.
Meanwhile, most worthwhile things to be seen on ABC TV are British productions. Most of the Australian productions are crap – and Australians realise this and wonder why!!
I suppose this latest channel will be put to use telling us more lies, misinformation and supporting the Rudd Government. What else??
And now the ABC is opening a 24 hour “news” channel to serve as yet another propaganda channel for the ALP.
