Lord Monckton wows Melbourne audience
About 1,000 supporters gave Lord Christopher Monckton a standing ovation at his public lecture in Melbourne last night. Earlier, 100 attended a luncheon at the Institute for Private Enterprise in South Yarra.
The Grand Ballroom at the Melbourne’s Sofitel Hotel was packed to near capcity and Lord Monckton and Professor Ian Plimer gave the audience great value for the relatively modest admission price.
Case Smit, one of the two Australians who organised the Monckton/Plimer tour, introduced the speakers at the the Sofitel lecture.
Des Moore of the Institute for Private Enterprise and the Australian Climate Science Coalition hosted the South Yarra function.
