Monckton on the economics and science of climate change
Here are three edited audio segments from Christopher Monckton’s lecture in Melbourne on Monday. In the first, Lord Monckton has a message about emissions trading schemes – members and supporters of the Coalition parties, please take note. In the second he addresses the economics of CO2 mitigation. In the third clip, Lord Monckton considers some of the scientific data and possible causes of the warming of the last 300 years and some of the reasons why the UN is getting it wrong.
mitigation.

I am amazed that no one has made the connection between the Lima Declaration signed by Australia in 1975 which involves the purposeful and highly successful destruction of Australian industry by successive Australian Governments and the Obama’s draft Copenhagen Treaty uncovered by Lord Monckton. Both are intentionally designed to reduce A ustralia to a third world country.
Toad of Toad Hall
Tony, this is just another nail in the coffin of the Australian worker. The Lima Declaration is similar in parts to the Copenhagen Treaty, the wording says it all. It is disgusting and despicable to see successive Liberal and Labor Govts. embrace liberalised trade policies that are designed as you said to “destroy industry”. Rudd is dangerous and follows Obummah’s rehetoric of ‘wealth redistribution’, this sort of meddling and peddling creates a culture of entitlement and economic decline.
We need to get this country working again. Lib/Lab will continue with the welfare state, open trade policies, high immigration, multiculturalism, implementing some sort of watered down ETS and general chaos which as you also rightly said will, “reduce Australia to a third world country”.
As Cicero said, “the enemy at the gate is less formidable….than the traitor who speaks in accents familiar and works secretly to undermine the pillars of a city…”.
Concerned Aussies pls. go to http://www.protectionist.net.
Go Monckton let the people know. For such strong turn outs you would think that it would be in the news.
It has been several weeks now since Rudd has made a speech on the ETS. I hope that he decides to drop it.
I’m so glad that Rudd’s Labor failed to close the debate on “global warming.” But no wonder they’re scared of Christopher Monckton. He likes facts.
Ben – President Obama is coming to Oz shortly. However, viewing on U Tube
his Address to the Union, he mentions nothing about ETS taxes. I think
the UN IPCC gave them a inkling of what it had to offer in a Climate change
treaty. He mentions the US of A must keep up with China and Europe (?)
in the clean energy industries. Now wait for this. … nuclear, and off shore
drilling for oil and gas… oh …. a little mention of getting people employed in the manufacture of solar panels… then he did mention with some mirth
I felt received by the Congress, his VP, the chairwoman of Congress and even himself …. “I know that there are people who do not believe in the climate change science (laughter) but whether it is right or wrong, we must remain
competitive with China and Europe regarding clean energy…”
Does that sound like a turn around eh? Hope some of his attitude rubs
of on Senator Wrong and Mr Rudd et al. And Mr Abbott should take on
the same response maybe he will when he meets Lord Monckton and Prof Plimer in Canberra. Bet you Mr Rudd or Senator Wong won’t.
