Family First’s Francis appeals to Queensland for support
Wendy Francis Family First Queensland Senate candidate Wendy Francis issued a media release today telling Queenslanders that “Australia would be worse off without a Family First senator”.
Francis said that if the Greens obtained the balance of power in their own right “the floodgates of immorality would open and Australia would spiral out of control.”
“The Greens stand for everything that will take Australia down the wrong road. For example their socialist education policies will rip the heart out of private schools forcing parents at faith-based and independent schools to pay more for education,” she said.
Francis accused the Greens of having an agenda that would destroy the moral fibre of the nation. “Because the Greens have such strong support from people who are not parents they have little understanding of issues that parents and families face.”
Francis said despite the outward appearance of a credible party, the Greens will try to force their anti-Christian agenda on to unsuspecting Australians. “The Greens are not mainstream and will have more influence if Labor gets in. The result will be the destruction of marriage as we know it, the silencing of the mainstream Judeo-Christian message and the loss of Australian values.”
Family First is the voice of mainstream Australia according to Francis. “I believe it is more important than ever for a moderate voice like Family First to be in the senate and maintain the nation’s integrity. If we are not represented I hold grave fears for our future,” she said.
“It’s time for the voices of the people to be heard in Canberra. Francis said she is running for the Senate to “bring balance to the balance of power” and has appealed to Queenslanders to vote for her.
