Abbott launches “Strong Australia”, sets the stage for 2013 policy roll-out

In an e-book launched today, Opposition Leader Tony Abbott has brought together the values, directions and policy commitments that will form the foundation of the next Coalition government.

The book, A Strong Australia, brings together the major speeches that Mr Abbott has delivered during 2012.

In an e-newsletter today, Mr Abbott wrote:

In the two years since the last election, my colleagues and I have been speaking with Australians about their lives, and their hopes for our country and their families. We have also consulted with experts about how we can best harness Australia’s potential.

From these conversations, the Coalition has developed our plans to build a strong and prosperous economy and a safe and secure Australia.

Earlier today, I launched A Strong Australia which brings together the major speeches that I have delivered during 2012. It is my fourth book, and first e-book, and it details the values, directions and policy commitments of the next Coalition government.

A Strong Australia is the foundation of a future Coalition government.

It contains our plans to create a diverse five pillar powerhouse economy that can create one million new jobs over the next five years – and two million new jobs over the next decade.

You can download A Strong Australia to read on your iPad, iPhone, Android device, Kindle or Kobo e-reader or as a PDF. Just click here.

I believe we can reset Australia’s course to deliver increasing confidence, renewed productivity growth and real improvement in the wealth of households.

In the future, as in the past, the Coalition can do great things for our country.

I invite you to read A Strong Australia and our plans to give everyone the hope, reward and opportunity that Australians deserve.
