New Spectator Australia debate: “Foreign investment is out of control”
Former Treasurer Peter Costello and broadcaster Alan Jones will be on opposing sides of an upcoming Spectator Australia debate in Sydney on foreign investment in Australia.
“With our largest chunk of arable land and biggest water rights holder, Cubbie Station, now the property of the Chinese, it’s time to ask: have we gone too far in selling off the farm?”
That’s the question for of a 14 November Spectator Australia debate in Sydney.
Speaking for the proposion will be Bob Katter (Katter’s Australian Party), Radio 2GB’s Alan Jones and actor and writer Rhys Muldoon. Speaking against will be Howard Government Trewasurer Peter Costello, IPA’s Tim Wilson and RMIT’s Steve Kates.
