The UK Daily Telegraph’s Damian Thompson writes: “He’s done it again. The Pope has reiterated unfashionable Catholic teaching on sexuality. And at Christmas! What poor taste. Moreover, he has dared to do so in the context of a discussion of (pause to genuflect) the environment. Is nothing sacred?
“Benedict XVI stands accused today of ecclesiastical gay-bashing. When I was woken up very early this morning by a radio station looking for a quote, I was given the impression that he’d given a speech saying homosexuals More
“Mainstream” media outlets like Newsweek are losing readers and jobs.
Cliff Kincaid | December 21 2008
Before Newsweek created a controversy with its laughably absurd cover story that the Bible supports homosexual marriage, lame duck President George W. Bush declared in an interview with Cynthia McFadden of ABC News that he doesn’t believe the Bible to be the literal word of God. So Adam and Eve could just as easily be Adam and Steve? We needed a follow-up from McFadden. Read the story

Jim Wallace
Changes to the New South Wales Adoption Act would see the wishes of homosexual lobbyists put above the interests of children, Jim Wallace, managing director of the Australian Christian Lobby said today.
The Christian lobby group urged the NSW Government not to change the law to allow same sex adoption. ACL said such a move goes against the best interests of the children, who, as a consequence, will miss out on the love and role models of both a mother and a father. More

Natural marriage amendments pass in US
Australian Conservative | November 6 2008On yesterday’s US elections, Americans for Truth reports, “The good news is that pro-natural marriage amendments passed in California, Florida and Arizona. Had McCain championed those ballot measures – Florida’s passed by 63 percent — he might be president today. Often it seems as if liberal (“moderate”) Republicans would rather lose elections than espouse pro-family policies, but the whole country suffers when such calculations are made.”
Those who campaigned in support of traditional marriage were subjected to vicious attacks and accused of being “intolerant” and “offensive.” However, as Americans for Truth pointed out, those doing the lecturing could use a bit of tolerance training - view the video. More

Politically correct AIDS theory wrong
Mark Henderson | August 6 2008For many years, trendy lefties in society, the media and global bodies like the World Health Organisation, have pushed the view that HIV/AIDS is a problem for all of society. Associating it with homosexual men was wrong and only served to stigmatise and demonise them. They were in effect being discriminated against and vilified. More
