More than 50 amendments were lodged, but all were voted down.

The Coalition Against the Decriminalisation of Abortion is calling on Christians to “unite for 1 hour of Prayer and Protest” on the steps of the Victorian parliament on Sunday 5 October from 1:45 – 2:45 pm.

It will be “prayer for the protection of unborn children and a protest against the current abortion bill,” CADOA spokesperson Kirsten Jack wrote in an open letter appealing for the support of Christians of all denominations. More
